In town for meetings and found this place close to the hotel. I came here around 5:30pm and it's already 2/3 full with people meetup after work. I went for the coldhot combo (sashimi regular and vegetable udon). The sashimi are fresh and presented in a dry ice bowl. It satisfied my cravings. The hot udon soup was because it was still chilly outside and needed to warm up a little.

This is the freshest sushi ever. Portions are incredibly generous, and the preparation is always perfect. I try to come here whenever I’m in Chicago for work. I’ve been here at least 10 times over the last two years and always get the sushi sashimi combo. The quality never falters. Prices are phenomenal.
A wonderful little sushi spot right near Millennium Park with delicious, fresh sushi and appetizers. The seaweed salad was a sleeper hit. We had the Sushi Combo lunch special and a few extra rolls. More than enough food and expertly prepared. We did find the miso soup to be a little bland, but everything else was superb. Service was fast and super friendly!
Have been working a conference downtown all weekend and needed some clean food that wasn’t fried or full of salt, and Ryo Sushi delivered. It’s a simple, clean, authentic Japanese sushi bar with great quality fish and a really nice staff. Was exactly what I needed and I’ll happily return.
What a great place to enjoy fresh sushi and escape the heatwave! We were greeted, making space for our stroller, the place was clean and cool! Food was quick to be served and great taste!! Sushi and Philadelphia roll was amazing, as well with the best plate gyoza! Honestly, this was my wife’s favorite gyoza ever! The server was educated and respectful, I would come back here whenever I could it was closer to Boston! lol
This place is so stinking cute! This is quite literally the best sushi i have ever had, and probably will have. What a wonderful experience, definitely will be taking the long drive back to chicago just for this! I almost licked my plate clean. AC was such a great server and super sweet!
This place is honestly amazing! I’m a Chicagoan and happen to be in the area and was pleasantly surprised. Really high quality sushi. I had the salmon lover, jalapeno yellowtail roll, and snow crab roll (which was real, not artificial). Friendly service, great food, and great location - will plan to take visitors here when visiting millennium park!
